Each row is one person (22 shown); dots are samples at days since that person's first sample.

FMT+CDED vs sham trial; 24 samples titled D<n>-0-week-CDFMT<n> appear to be donor stool paired to 12 recipients — pairing not committed (replicate split).

Archive description

This clinical trial investigated whether combining Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) with the Crohn's Disease Exclusion Diet (CDED) is more effective than CDED alone (sham + CDED) for treating mild-to-moderate Crohn's disease. The FMT + CDED combination showed significant benefits: it dramatically reduced long-term treatment failure (5.9% vs 46.2%), improved combined clinical and endoscopic responses, and successfully promoted the lasting engraftment of beneficial gut bacteria.
