longitudinal
27 of 27 people sampled more than once (134 samples; median 5, up to 5 per person) · follow-up median 16 d (max 16 d) · median interval between samples 2 d (time from timepoint numbers, unit from the stated sampling schedule). Schedule stated by the source: “Each of 27 subjects sampled at study days 0, 6, 8, 10, 16 (fecal/urine/blood) as part of a 17-day longitudinal intervention (SPI washout then GP-SPI supplementation)”; stated follow-up 17 d.
Each row is one person (27 shown); dots are samples at days since that person's first sample.

- Grape polyphenols reduce fasting glucose and increase hyocholic acid in healthy humans: a meta-omics study. 2025 PMID 40425565 PMC12116990 own_data
Archive description
The goal is to assess the impact of supplementation with proanthocyanidin-rich grape polyphenol (GP) extract on the human gut flora composition. Subjects first were supplemented with 20 g of soy protein isolate (SPI) 2x/day for 5 days as a wash-out period. After a gap day, subjects were instructed to take 20 g of a soy protein isolate (SPI) complexed to GP, containing 1 g of GP, twice a day for 10 days. Subjects were directed to consume a diet low in proanthocyanidins during the study duration.
